Questions About Our Live Cooking Classes

Are the classes beginner friendly?

Absolutely. Every Simply Caribbean Foods live class is designed for all skill levels. Chef D explains every technique from the very beginning with patience and clarity. You do not need any prior cooking experience to join and enjoy the class.

Do I cook along live during the class?

Yes. This is not a demonstration you watch. You cook in real time right alongside Chef D. You have your ingredients ready, you follow each step, and by the end of the class you have made the dish yourself from scratch.

Will I get the ingredient list in advance?

Yes. Your full recipe and ingredient list is sent by email ahead of class day so you have plenty of time to shop and prep. You will never arrive at class unprepared.

How long are the classes?

Classes run approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on the session type. The Ultimate Experience sessions covering 3 to 4 dishes may run toward the longer end. You will always know the expected duration before you book.

Can I join from anywhere in the world?

Yes. All classes are held via Zoom which means you can join from anywhere in the world. All you need is an internet connection and a working kitchen.

What is the difference between the class options?

Group classes ($19.99) are open to the public. The Ultimate Experience ($75) covers a full Caribbean meal of 3 to 4 dishes in one session. Private sessions ($125) are for your household only with a personalised menu. Corporate experiences ($35 per person, minimum 20) are dedicated team sessions arranged on a custom date.
